ASU - CAI (Center for American Institutions) - Luncheon

The first luncheon in the series on "Why Socialism and Anti-semitism are on the Rise Outside of the Academy" featuring Dr. Juliana Geran Pilon will be on September 8 at 11:30a at the Omni Hotel Tempe.

Dr. Pilon is a Senior Fellow at the Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization. Her first book, "Notes From the Other Side of Night: From Communism to a Fragile Freedom," will be published with a new introduction in September 2026. Her previous books include "An Idea Betrayed: Liberalism, Jews, and the American Left", "The Utopian Conceit and the War on Freedom", "The Art of Peace: Engaging a Complex World", and others. She has taught at the National Defense University, Emory University, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, George Washington University, American University, and the Institute of World Politics.
